HOW TO FIND US

Transsiberian Hostel is easy to get to from the city's railway stations as well as airports. Its location is an ideal opportunity to experience the spirit of old Moscow, stroll around its lovely streets down to Red Square and the Kremlin.

Walking distance from Transsiberian Hostel to:

  • Red Square and the Kremlin - 20 minutes
  • Lubyanka Square and KGB headquarters - 15 minutes
  • Kitay-Gorod metro station - 12 minutes
  • Chistye Prudy metro station - 12 minutes
  • Kurskaya metro station - 7 minutes

    Our staff will always assist you in helping find your way in Moscow. We know where you can have a nice meal at a reasonable price, we can tell you what sights are there to see in the city. You can buy theatre and concert, as well as airline and train tickets without leaving Transsiberian Hostel.

    FROM KURSKAYA METRO STATION

    Please note: lines of Moscow's Metro are marked with different colours on the plans. If you are on Kurskaya station of the Circle (brown) line, facing the stairway in the middle of the platform, turn right and to to the escalator. After the escalator, ascend the stairs on you right. When outside, turn right again and walk towards a wide street (Zemlyanoy Val, leaving a shopping centre on your left side. Cross the wide street using the underground crossing, then turn right and walk along Zemlyanoy Val. Take the second side-street left and walk up the street, cross Lyalin side-street at the traffic light and you will find yourself in Barashevsky Pereulok. The second building  (a yellow three-storey house) on the left side of the street is Transsiberian Hostel (no. 12, Barashevsky Pereulok). There you will see a black door with our logo - TSH. Dial "12" on house intercom.

    DOMODEDOVO AIRPORT

    Every 30 minutes, an express train goes from Domodedovo to Paveletsky railway station in Moscow. The journey takes 40 minutes and costs 250 rubles. When the train arrives, you can go underground to Paveletskaya metro station (where green and brown metro lines cross) and take to stops on the Circle (brown) line to get to Kurskaya station. Follow the directions above to find us from there.

    SHEREMETYEVO AIRPORT

    An express train from Sheremetyevo to Moscow's Belarus train station leaves every 30 minutes. The journey takes 35 minutes and costs 250 rubles. When on Belarus railway station, go underground to Belarusskaya metro station of the Circle (brown line). Take four stops and get out on Kurskaya metro station, then follow the directions above.

    VNUKOVO AIRPORT

    An express train from Vnukovo to Moscow's Kiev railway station runs every hour. The journey takes 35 minutes and costs 250 rubles. When at Kiev train station, go underground to Kievskaya station of the Circle (brown) line and take six stops till you get to Kurskaya metro station. Then, follow the directions above to get to Transsiberian Hostel.

    LENINGRADSKY, YAROSLAVSKY AND KAZANSKY TRAIN STATIONS

    Go underground to Komsomolskaya metro station on the Circle (brown) line, take one stop to Kurskaya station, then follow the directions above to find us from there.
